Alex Burns

Alex Burns first gained notice when he was cast in ‘Semper Fi’, produced by Steven Spielberg for Dreamworks/NBC. He went on to play Alan Arkin’s troubled son in the critically received film, ‘Thirteen Conversations About One Thing’. Critics also took notice of Burns’s starring performance as a pilfering con man in ‘On The Road With Judas’, which co-starred Aaron Ruell and Eddie Kaye Thomas, and premiered the Sundance Film Festival. In the thriller ‘Sordid Things’, which premiered at the 2009 Boston International Film Festival, Burns plays an unsure con man opposite ‘ER’ veteran Alex Kingston.

Burns’s other film credits include the hit comedy ‘National Lampoon’s Van Wilder’, Comedy Central’s first original movie ‘Porn ‘N Chicken: Point & Shoot’ in which he was also an associate producer. Burns starred in ‘Brother to Brother’ with Anthony Mackie, ‘Garden State’ with Peter Sarsgaard and Zack Braff and ‘Girl in the Park’ opposite Kate Bosworth. Burns most recently wrapped Shari Springer Berman and Bob Pulcini’s ‘Extra Man’ in which he starred opposite Katie Holmes.

Alex currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
