Chad Kelly

Chad Kelly is a New York-based composer who has written music for numerous award-winning and critically-acclaimed films and documentaries, including Starz's ‘The Big Bad Swim’ for Starz, ‘The Zen of Bobby V’ for ESPN Films, and documentaries ‘Andrew Jenks, Room 335’ and ‘The Alzheimer's Project’ for HBO.

Chad has also composed music for numerous commercials, TV programs, interactive media projects and video games such as ‘Sub Command 2000’ and ‘Dangerous Waters’ for Electronic Arts.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a dual major in composition and film scoring, Chad went on to become head staff composer and assistant sound design engineer for Sonalysts Studios in Waterford, Conn. Three years later he co-founded Aberrant Sound--a music production company specializing in creating music and sound design for the commercial industry. His daily roles included producer, composer and sound designer.  

Chad left Aberrant sound in 2006 to pursue his passion for film scoring. His deep regard and interest in a variety of musical genres inspires an eclectic versatility that allows Chad to compose many different styles of music while maintaining a voice all his own.
