Katie Mustard

Katie Mustard is an established film producer and filmmaker. An honors graduate of the USC Film School, Katie has worked at Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Studios, MTV and The Directors Bureau. After eighteen months of working closely with film and music video director Roman Coppola, Katie pursued production work as a UPM and producer of commercials, shorts, documentaries and feature films.  Her first short film, ‘Swallow’ premiered at Sundance 2003 and was distributed by HBO. Her following film, ‘Mafia Movie Madness’ was the official winner of the Coca-Cola Filmmaker’s Contest. Her short ‘In The Morning’ screened before the U.S. Congress Human Rights committee and won awards at festivals all over the world--Sundance and Tribeca among them.

As a feature producer, Katie has produced the features ‘One Part Sugar’, starring Danny DeVito and Justin Long, ‘Special’, starring Michael Rappaport—which premiered at Sundance 2006, ‘Rolling’, which stars Sanoe Lake and won the Audience Award at the 2007 San Francisco International Festival, and ‘Graduation’, starring Adam Arkin and Chris Lowell. In October 2006, Katie wrapped principal photography on a feature film adaptation of the award-winning novel ‘Dream Boy’, shot on location in Louisiana. Most recently, Katie produced the indie film ‘Sordid Things’, starring Alex Kingston, James McCaffrey and Piper Perabo, which was shot on location in New York City, and she produced the documentary feature ‘American Shopper’ which premiered at the 2007 Seattle International Film Festival.
